Today marked the 33rd annual Septemberfest celebration in Pennsville township. Today also marked the 2nd time that our office held an Alex's Lemonade Stand during the parade. We planned just as we did last year.......baked cookies and brownies just as we did last year........prepared the Countrytime Lemonade just as we did last year. The difference is that this year we have 2 agents' family members battling cancer. I felt a little sad this year serving the beverages and treats.
BUT now I can see, firsthand, the big 'WHY' behind the effort.
Hopefully, we'll see you next year for #3. We'll be there the first Sat. after Labor Day, across the street from the Park. Please stop by!
